Nofollow is a property that you can add to a link. It goes like this: a nofollow link (notice the rel="nofollow" clause). Basically it tells search engines not to tak...

You should give KUbuntu a try. There is almost nothing you can do with Photoshop that you cannot do with The Gimp. Just give it a try. For vector drawing, you can try Inkscape, which is much better than Illustrator. As for Dreamweaver, I don't like Dreamweaver pages at all, so I cannot offer you advice on that, sorry. However, I hear there is a program called Quanta, which you could try.

Just give it time, and don't be afraid to try different options. If you really really need Windows software, you can try VMWare and Quemu, which will allow you to run a virtual Windows inside your KUbuntu. It's not very easy, but it isn't either very difficult, and when it has been set up, it's magic!

Good luck!

Look here:

The NTFS-3G driver is an open source, freely available read/write NTFS driver for Linux and other operating systems. It provides safe and fast handling of the Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000 and Windows Vista file systems.

Todd: Ma.gnolia posts in the pipeline. Unfortunately the day job is trumping the blogging at the moment!

If you're building your own daily blog post tool, perhaps consider allowing us to filter content by tag. This would allow me to post stuff to Interweb World by tagging items "interweb".

At the moment, since it's so generalized I restrict my Ma.gnolia bookmarks to tech-related content.

Oh, and if you're going down that route, perhaps also allow posting to multiple blogs?

We're looking forward to reading your impressions about Ma.gnolia, and about how the Postalicious plugin works for you as well. Though we will be writing our own daily blog post tool, we like to see how well existing work can be re-used, and what gaps it doesn't fill.

@Tony: I hadn't considered that SEO competitors might be involved in burying stories. However, their collective sense of outrage seems to suggest otherwise.

I notice ProNet have started posting articles about Reddit, which I welcome. I think there are other social services that are worth a look. I also think you should conscientiously participate in the community if you're hoping to take leverage it for traffic.

Digg admins are not the ones blocking domains, it's an automated system based on "spam" buries. It's not a far-fetched scenario that SEO sites are burying each other out of Digg.

Why Digg and not Reddit? The former is a magnitude larger in size. Ether way, social traffic on its own is of rather poor quality, but 1-in-1000 subscriber/linkback is nice anyways.
